Team Europe at Connected Africa SummitUnlocking growth beyond connectivity
The Connected Africa Summit (CAS) 2024 will bring together African Heads of State, Ministers of ICT, public sector representatives, private sector leaders, academia, foreign missions, development partners, sponsors, delegates, and thought leaders, to ensure a comprehensive and inclusive dialogue that reflects the diversity of Africa.
Organised by the Kenyan ICT Authority from 22 April until 25 April, CAS aims to forge a transformative path for Africa’s digital future, charting the course that spurs growth, connectivity, and innovation, culminating in strategic outcomes that leave a lasting impact.
Coordinated by the D4D Hub, Team Europe is organizing a number of sessions in partnership with Smart Africa during CAS 2024 to discuss joint work towards a human-centric digital transformation for Africa.

The Connected Africa Summit was a great opportunity for the D4D Hub and #TeamEurope Member States and other partners to present their approaches to human-centric digital transformation by fostering dialogues between different actors of the digital ecosystem. Many stakeholders visited our the pavilion to learn more about Team Europe's digital cooperation with African partners and hear more about the D4D Hub's private sector, civil society and academia advisory groups.
Team Europe Panel Discussions at Connected Africa Summit
Throughout the Connected Africa Summit 2024, #TeamEurope member states and partners organized panel discussions centered on innovative approaches to digital cooperation, with a strong focus on ensuring that initiatives prioritize the needs and aspirations of people across the continent. By emphasizing inclusivity and collaboration, the summit underscored the importance of forging partnerships that empower communities and drive sustainable development.
